Amadea W.
Missart
Cellist of 1752.
My story, that of Amadea MissArt, is etched in the annals of an illustrious musical lineage. Although my surname inevitably evokes the memory of my second cousin, the celebrated composer, pianist, and violinist Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, my path took a different turn: the cello.
I grew up in the same environment of rigorous musical training, under demanding teachers and the watchful eye of my uncle, Leopold Mozart. In those years, I found in Nannerl a confidante and muse, whose sensitivity and talent encouraged me during the most arduous moments of study. But destiny had something unexpected in store for me. In 1790, a mysterious time traveler revealed an omen: one day the cello would shine with the same grandeur as the violin.
Spurred by this revelation, I decided to defy my era. I escaped through time to find a new audience and demonstrate what I had always known:
that the cello is one of the most powerful and captivating instruments ever created. My mission is clear: to interpret the solos that my cousin never wrote and to reveal to the world the true power of this instrument.
