Academia Latinoamericana de Violonchelo and masterclasses
ABOUT ME · PART THREE
Dedication, passion and harmony.
A DEDICATION
To my teachers
Beyond my beginnings in orchestras, my passion for the cello, its sound, its timbre and its repertoire never stopped growing. I always had the privilege of studying, alongside, with great teachers and legends of the cello.
This page is my way of thanking them. Each of them left me something I still carry with me: a way of holding the bow, of listening, of teaching and of living music. What I pass on to my students today, I learned from them.

CARACAS · A MOMENT FOREVER
Maestro José Antonio Abreu
«I had the unique chance to speak one day with Maestro Abreu and thank him for everything he did. Thank you, Maestro Abreu. And thank you to all my dear teachers at the Academia Latinoamericana de Violonchelo: this is dedicated to you.»
WHY THIS DEDICATION?
What I learned goes beyond technique
In El Sistema I learned that a teacher doesn't only teach you to play: they teach you discipline, generosity and to believe in yourself. My teachers gave me their time, their patience and their music, often asking nothing in return.
That is why I want their names to be here. My career, my travels and everything I do in Italy began in those classrooms, those rehearsals and those journeys across Venezuela. Thank you also to everyone who welcomed me in Caracas, Mérida and every city, and to every audience that listened to me.
