MARACAIBO · VENEZUELA
Loloy's legacy
In the streets of Maracaibo, art isn't just seen: it's lived. And among the city's muralists one name stands out: Loloy, a painter who left his mark on every corner.
He painted at night and travelled by limousine, always with his daughter by his side. Every wall became a canvas full of life and colour.

01
A legacy in my blood
My story begins with the legacy of my father and grandfather. Every year I asked Saint Nicholas for as many crayons, paints and reams of paper as possible.
02
A home full of art
Paintings, murals, easels and paints everywhere. That world made me the muralist and painter of my school.
03
Art in my heart
Music became my first passion, but every time I pick up a brush, I feel my father's and grandfather's hands guiding mine.
