MY JOURNEY
From Maracaibo to Turin
I was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and began my musical training in El Sistema. I then studied at the Latin American Cello Academy with Maestro William Molina and, for more than a decade, played in the Sinfónica de la Juventud Zuliana Rafael Urdaneta and the Maracaibo Symphony Orchestra, while studying musicology and attending chamber music masterclasses.
In Turin I earned my cello diploma at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory with top marks (110/110), and completed my master's there in July 2026, with 30/30 in the final exam. I will soon have lived in Italy for 10 years.
I have performed across Europe and Latin America, and from that journey AndreaCellolo was born: a solo project blending classical music, film scores and contemporary reinterpretations.

WHY ANDREACELLOLO?
Cello + Lolo
"Cello," for my passion for the instrument. "Lolo," for my bond with the visual arts and my family, above all my father, Loloy, a muralist in Maracaibo.
